Between light and shadow: oligarchs and the promise of power
Why do oligarchs exist at all? Are they just a flaw in the system, or an inevitable consequence when societies grow, markets open up and power is no longer administered by the state alone?

There are stories that arise from an image, a sentence or a character. And there are stories that begin as an intention – for example, as an attempt to create a world, which poses a certain question. Triarchia belongs to the second category.

Over Easter 2025, I launched a special marketing campaign for my novel “Rock Dreams” – and what can I say? The result was a real Easter miracle!

“Maybe that’s all we can do: not stay perfect. But sincere.”
My new reflection on Rock Dreams is not about fame, but about fragility.
Tom, frontman of The Cry, loses himself in a silent power struggle. Not with the world – but with himself.
What remains when you stop fighting back? And what happens when someone else starts to reshape you?
I accompanied Tom for a long time – and learned a lot about him during the crisis. And perhaps also about us.

The world of Triarchia is a place of balance, strict order and deep social division. Three great spheres characterize this system, each with its own laws, values and duties. For centuries, they have existed in a fragile peace that is only maintained by adherence to the “Old Rules”. But the “Old Rules” enforce slavery, bondage and separation from nature and progress. And beneath the surface, conflicts simmer, and not everyone submits to their predetermined fate.

Rock Dreams went online on December 16, 2024 – and what a journey it’s been so far! Over 100 copies have now been sold and I am incredibly grateful for all the readers who have engaged with Tom and The Cry’s story.

Sometimes it seems as if we are stuck in an endless loop of the same stories: The hero resists temptation and saves the world, two lovers overcome obstacles to come together, or a young outsider discovers his true destiny. But why do storytellers in books and films always fall back on the same patterns? The answer lies deep within our human nature.

Do you know this? Lost in thought, you scroll through the daily flood of emails, news and advertising – and suddenly you get stuck on something that surprises you and won’t let go. That’s what happened to me when I came across a link to a new course by Brandon Sanderson. Maybe you know him: He has already published an impressive series of lectures on writing at Brigham Young University several times – free of charge and in English (Brandon Sanderson’s Writing Lecture #1).

How do you sell a book on Amazon when 8,000 new titles are released every month? I’ve learned more about book marketing in the last

I’ve always believed that music is a language that connects people. With Rock Dreams, I wanted to show what’s behind this language – the struggles, the passion and the moments that change everything.
